RSK Geosciences is pleased to share our achievements at the 2025 Brownfield Awards. The event brought together organisations committed to improving the way brownfield land is assessed, managed and regenerated, and we were proud to be recognised across several categories.

Highly commended for Best Project Preparatory Work

In a strong category with nine shortlisted entries, RSK Geosciences received a highly commended award for the project Overcoming complex contamination and logistical challenges to support the achievement of net zero.

The work focused on addressing groundwater and LNAPL contamination at a site in the north of England, where sustainable solutions and careful coordination played a key role. The recognition reflects the quality of the investigation and the collaborative effort involved in delivering a robust, environmentally responsible outcome.

A strong presence across multiple categories

Alongside our commendation, RSK Geosciences was shortlisted across four categories, highlighting the breadth of expertise within our business and our continued commitment to advancing best practice in the brownfield sector.

Our shortlisted entries included:

  • Best Project Preparatory Work for the Fort Halstead investigation
  • Best Project Preparatory Work – Overcoming complex contamination and logistical challenges to support the achievement of net zero
  • Best Early Career Brownfield Professional
